Letter of Recommendation (LOR)

An LOR generally verifies the claims of an overseas applicant and provides the admission committee an opportunity to learn more about the candidate, since, Admission Committees generally don’t conduct face to face interviews.
The referee must know the applicant in an academic or professional Capacity. The LOR might be obtained from- a University Professor, Department Head/ Principal/ Headmaster/ Housemaster Or any other person who is in position to recommend the student on academic performance or any personal qualities like analytical, leadership or communication skills. For a Supervisor/ Manager or Employer, the referee must be monitoring one’s performance and duties directly or indirectly.
